"PRADERAS" YEAR FOR GARDENING!

Today was an excellent day! We went to "Villa El Salvador" district to the "Praderas" community to renew a garden for the people in the community for them to have a place for gardening and self-sustain the families that are most in need and a section for making natural compost with organic wastes.

In this opportunity a group of sixteen (16) volunteers from USA (Alabama)! Thank you guys for volunteer your time us and the community really appreciate it.

First we needed to buy the compost for planting all the seeds and potatoes!

We visited a local market for buying some gifts for the families in the communities and to tried some fruits!

Then we grabbed all the materials and got to work. We divided into three groups painting, gardening and building!

We needed to take down the old walls of the garden to put the new fences, then started making these new fences from scratch and paint all of it. Energy and happiness was on this beautiful atmosphere!

The building team were making the boxes for the seeds and potatoes while the painting team painted the boxes in white!

Everybody was feeling great and were very grateful! When the boxes were finished the compost was the next step, and the team started building the fences!

We started to put everything together and it looked very beautiful! A new garden for this families is something that will change their lives!

We visited some families for delivering some gifts and then we had lunch with a local family, it was a great experience! (And good food too!)

It was almost all finished! And a football match was waiting for us at the end of all the hard work!

It was nicely done and we also visited a local school to visit some classroms and to hand some school supplies for the kids that need it the most.

Thanks a lot guys for all the hard work and the good energy that you brought today to the community, it was an amazing day!

Thank you guys for all your help! We hope to see you again to work together and have a great time!
