OUR NEW FRIENDS: THE ARTISTS AND FOOTBALL PLAYERS!

This time we received with a lot of love to our friends from USA, eleven kids and their Spanish teachers that were absolutely amazing. They worked with us for 2 days helping the communities of "Bello Horizonte" and "Nueva Alborada".

On day 1, we started our volunteer day very early in the morning, and went to buy some compost for our garden, everyone was very helpful and very strong!

When we arrived to the community, the team of Haku Tours organized the kids and teachers in groups that were going to work in carpentry, painting or gardening. 

We always mention that the activities are very flexible, so, if you start in the morning with carpentry maybe in the afternoon you can move to the painting or gardening area.. But at the end of the day almost all the kids were painting and they did a wonderful work! Look how beautiful were the murals!

On the second day, we went to Nueva Alborada Community to give some donations to the families. While the girls and teachers were organizing the donations, the boys started to play football with the kids of the community, they had a great time playing together!

When we finished to organize everything we started our walking to the Meeting Room of the community. All the families and children were already there expecting us, we expended time with them talking and playing with the children and then we started giving the donations.

We really appreciate your help! You did a wonderful job on both days. Each one of you have a big heart! We hope you return very soon to Peru!
