"CERRO AZUL" COMMUNITY ANIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS!

Last Sunday we had the great honor of being invited to the anniversary celebrations at this friendly and nice community "Cerro Azul".

We were kindly welcomed and felt like home. We ate a delicious "Pollada", a local based-on chicken meal, and we made a toast with our traditional drink "Chicha Morada"! What else could we ask for? In this opportunity, our volunteer team was conformed by Francisco (Perú), Jean Pierre (Perú) and Guillermo (France).

In the picture we can se our main coordinator talking to the local leaders. He's telling them that he's donating the community twenty cement bags to build new stairs and twenty fertilizer bags for their plants!

Later in the afternoon, we worked at "El Halcón Sagrado" community in a daycare center. This time we helped the local people make the building bigger so that more children can use it. There's nothing more rewarding than helping others fulfill their goals.

We had finish our labor and we were very happy to spend the day working along this nice people.
